They wasted my time, don’t let them waste yours as well…

Side hustles are amazing, and there is no doubt about it. Side hustles give you the freedom to pursue a passion or something you’re interested in doing. If you find the right side hustle for you, you could end up with financial freedom and freedom within your life in general.

Here’s how you can do it too!

Today I hit 200 followers, an amount I never imagined to get within a year or maybe even two let alone a little over two weeks! 100 followers in one week, and 200 in a bit over two, truly a dream come true! Thank you to everyone for your support!

Here’s how I did it, and how you can as well…

It’s been only two days since I wrote an article about how I got two hundred followers in a little over two weeks.(at least the day I’m writing this is) I never could have expected, however, that I would reach 300 followers only two days after that.

Now I couldn’t…

And I promise, I’m not kidding around

You’ve probably read the title and are starting at it in disbelief. And trust me, I would too. But I’m far from kidding. Getting bored is good…

Here’s how I plan on doing it

I know: it’s supposed to take time to get popular on Medium. However, after being banned from a publication for publishing without ‘proper’ editing, and too many submissions, it’s time I fix how I’m writing.

I wrote on Quora for about a year and I did quite well on there…

This title probably seems clickbait since it defies the Medium algorithm. However, I’m here to tell you that the title is one hundred percent the truth!

Yesterday, when checking my stats, I realized that an article published nearly a month ago was performing well. Even though it wasn’t, it seemed curated, gaining more views each day.

What confused me further was that it was in a publication with only 50 followers! How could it have hundreds of views without curation and a bigger publication!

When I looked further, I found my answer: search engine optimization. The article was about Covid-19 vaccines and how they work. I got more views because google recommended my article to people searching the web for answers to that question.

Takeaway: Write something that teaches people, or provides a takeaway.

My process is complicated, yet beneficial…

When writing on Medium, it’s important to have some sort of structure to your work. This can take shape in many forms, however, one form which I think is essential is a writing schedule or writing plan for the week. Below I’m going to share two things I do to set myself up for a week of successful work.

  • Brainstorm Day: I brainstorm once at the end or beginning of a week for things I want to write in the upcoming week. This helps me never run out of ideas and not stress over what I have to write.
  • Schedule: I set myself a schedule for publishing days, and sometimes even times! This helps me a lot with structuring my week and know what I need to do and when.
